Instapaper is a research and reference tool individuals can use to gather and collect articles and videos of a variety of topics. These articles can be used in the classroom, for professional development, or for personal use. In my use of Instapaper, I save articles that I find helpful or interesting about teaching and volleyball. I also look for articles that can be shared with my students or topics that are covered in my courses at Athens State University.
Visuwords is a interactive and visual dictionary resource that connects words other relational words. It provides users with the parts of speech, the relationship, and the definitions in a web-like configuration. I use for both personal and professional use. In teaching, it is always important that I have a good understanding of the words and topics I am teaching. This resource is also friendly for students.
Evernote can be used both educationally and professionally. Evernote is an organizational tool that allows individuals to keep track of documents, note taking, and scheduling important due dates and tasks. Being organized can help you be a better students and teacher, worker and owner, and just having more productivity in life.
